Peterhead manager Jim McInally has sent his best wishes to his long time friend Jim Duffy after hearing that he had suffered a heart attack over the weekend.
The two Jims were at Celtic together 40 years ago and have remained close ever since despite the rivalry on the pitch when the Blue Toon face Duffy’s Dumbarton.
Our Jim said: “I was told the news on Tuesday afternoon but I was also told that he was recovering well which was good to hear. I sent my good wishes onto him.”
“We go back a long way and I am looking forward to trying to get one over him the next time we play.”
