Dundee midfielder Josh Mulligan will move to League 1 side Peterhead on loan to gain further first team match day experience. The 17 year old made his Dark Blues’ debut in May 2019 aged just 16 as a second half substitute against St. Mirren and he went onto play three times in the Betfred Cup for the Dens Park side last season before heading to Cove Rangers on loan in January.
Mulligan played 8 times for the Aberdeen side before football was placed into lockdown and he will now team up with Dundee United full back Kieran Freeman who joined the Balmoor men on a temporary basis last week.
The Blue Toon face Dundee United on Saturday and manager Jim McInally is delighted to have Mulligan on board as he explained: “I have been a fan of Josh for a while and he also played well against us in a friendly a couple of weeks ago. We were keen for him to come here and Dundee were keen for him to come as well.”
“He is young but he will add value to our squad.”
