Squad update

Nov 17, 2020

Peterhead return to League 1 duty this weekend when they host Dumbarton and unfortunately again manager Jim McInally will not have a full squad to choose from.

Defender Jason Brown will serve a one-game suspension against the Sons following his sending off against Montrose in the Blue Toon’s last league game.

Also already ruled out is on-loan Dundee midfielder Josh Mulligan who is still struggling with an ankle injury.

Goalkeeper Joshua Rae and Gary MacKenzie are not expected to train tonight and are therefore in the doubtful category however there is some good news as well – Isaac Layne will train tonight after his absence with a knee problem and Ben Armour is also expected to take part after the hamstring injury he picked up in Saturday’s game with St Johnstone eased.

Manager Jim McInally said: “We have not had everyone available for a game yet however I would expect Joshua and Gary to be available next weekend if they are not available for this one. Jason is out for one game so all being well the squad will be close to full strength before long.”
