Peterhead could have three back but one leaves
Blue Toon manager Jim McInally is hoping that defenders Kyle Bailey and Gary MacKenzie will be back in his squad for Saturday’s Scottish Cup tie with Stenhousemuir at Balmoor as well as striker Isaac Layne.
Bailey did not face Cove Rangers last weekend due to a foot injury whilst MacKenzie also sat the game out due to a thigh problem picked up in the late December draw with Montrose. Both players are hopeful of facing the Warriors as is Layne who has been troubled by a knee injury for most of the season.
Jim said: “It looks like we will have the three boys back which is good news.”
Leaving the club is Hashim Bakar who joined on a short-term deal in November with Jim adding: “With Niah Payne coming in Hashim was going to be less involved than he has been and he would be better going somewhere and playing. I wish him well.”
