Peterhead will add striker Kieran McGrath to their squad after Saturday’s game with Airdrie after a loan deal was agreed with Lowland League side East Kilbride.
The 19 year old attacker started off in the Youth Programme at Hibs with Celtic paying a five figure fee to bring him on board in 2018. McGrath never broke through at the Glasgow club however he gained experience at East Kilbride and Icelandic side Grotta before re-joining East Kilbride earlier this year.
With the Lowland League currently suspended McGrath will join up with the Blue Toon following a covid test that is scheduled for the weekend with manager Jim McInally saying: “It has been agreed that Kieran will join us whilst the Lowland League is shut down.”
“He is keen and hungry to make his mark and will get the chance to do that here.”
