The first Scottish Cup tie at Balmoor since a replay against Morton in November 2018 takes place tonight when Stenhousemuir visit with the prize on offer being a home tie with Premiership side Kilmarnock.
The Blue Toon go into the game on a high after defeating Airdrie 1-0 on Saturday in their first game since January 2 with the Ochilview men also having a spring in their step following their 2-0 League 2 success over Albion Rovers in their first game back.
Peterhead manager Jim McInally is wary of the fire-power at Warriors boss David Irons disposal as he explained: “Stenhousemuir have a side full of players that can cause you problems. Botti Biabi and Mark McGuigan both scored at the weekend and they have other players there that know their way to goal like Greig Spence who was a substitute at the weekend.”
“We know that if we give them an opening they will take it.”
“We had a good win over Airdrie on Saturday and will need that level of performance again. We are not up to full speed and you cannot expect the players touch and energy to be at the highest level yet however if we get the same effort I will be delighted.”

The manager will not be able to field the same team that one at the weekend as Innes Ritchie, who impressed against Airdrie on his debut, is cup-tied having played for Inverurie Locos earlier in the competition.
Local boy Danny Strachan who joined on loan from Dundee last week can feature with new recruits Andrew MacDonald and Kieran McGrath also available for the first time.
Alan Cook and Gray Fraser are out injured and Derek Lyle will not be involved however he is expected to be available for this Saturday’s trip to Dumbarton.
Simon Ferry sits out the second game of his two match suspension and whilst Steven Boyd is now free of a ban manager McInally has given him the night off as he became a father in the last few days.
