Peterhead may have a free weekend in terms of games however manager Jim McInally will have the players working hard tomorrow on the training pitch in a bid to find the spark that was missing in Tuesday night’s 2-0 defeat from Clyde.
Jim said: “We played well for 75% of the game however we never looked like we had a goal in us and we will look to change that. We will train on Saturday and look to ensure that the creativity that I know is in the squad comes to the fore in all games not just in some as we have seen since we came back.”
“Six points from nine is not the worst return however it could have been more and we could have been further involved in the chase for a promotion play-off place. Now we are still looking down the way and we will be putting all our efforts into being ready for Forfar next Tuesday.”
