Peterhead manager Jim McInally is delighted to have Jason Brown available to face Falkirk tomorrow however he faces a troubled night’s sleep as he looks to pick his team.
Experienced defender Brown missed out on last Saturday’s 2-0 win over Alloa as he was suspended and Jim has now to decide whether he breaks up a winning team to face the Bairns.
With only Alan Cook unlikely to feature due to a shin problem and Gary Fraser remaining out pending knee surgery Jim said: “It is great to have Jason available again. He is our most experienced central defender and is usually one of the first picks however I also have to recognise that the team who played against Alloa last weekend limited them to very few chances.”
“I need to balance that against that display against the fact that we are away from home against a full-time team who took a boost last weekend by taking a point at Falkirk with a squad that had been hit by Covid issues.”
“There is a lot to consider and I will try and sleep on it before making a call on Saturday morning.”
