Could another new face check in at Balmoor?

Peterhead manager Jim McInally has not finished reshaping his Blue Toon squad despite the recent additions of Flynn Duffy from Dundee United on loan and ex-Elgin City defender David Wilson on a two year deal.

Jim has been in contact with a Premiership side over a loan deal for an attack minded player and the discussions have gone well with the Balmoor boss, speaking the day after his side lost 3-2 to league leaders Queen’s Park, saying: “We have strengthened at the back and in midfield with the addition of Flynn and David. The two of them did okay at the weekend and I was pleased that David got 45 minutes under his belt after not playing for a few months.”

“He showed during that time what he will bring to us. Flynn battled away against some very good experienced players and again he showed his worth to us.”

“A door has been opened to add an attacker and I am looking to make that happen. I have had discussions with the Chairman and he has agreed to funding it despite an already tight budget. Hopefully we can get it over the line this week.”
