Is squad reshuffle to continue?

Sep 29, 2021

The recent recruitment of Flynn Duffy, David Wilson and Ryan Duncan could lead to players heading out of Balmoor temporarily to ensure that they stay match sharp.

Blue Toon manager Jim McInally has been approached to loan out a couple of members of his squad and is willing to put the wheels in motion over the next couple of days.

Jim explained: “I am pleased with the boys we have brought in however it does give me a headache on match-days now as I can only list seven substitutes. There is nothing worse for a player than training throughout the week and then not being involved at all on a Saturday. I am looking to avoid that.”

“There has been interest from a couple of clubs about taking some of our boys in between now and January. It is likely that the boys will play more football between now and then if they go on loan than they would staying at Peterhead. Playing regularly would also aid their development so we will have chats with them to see what they want to do.”
