Many football fans over the years have believed that their favourites could walk on water however a member of the Peterhead squad will better that by walking on fire.
Gary Fraser, who has been out of action since last December due to a knee problem, is undertaken the challenge to help thank Mental Health Charity, Back Onside, for their help during his time out of the game.
The 27 year old said: “I am walking over hot coals for Back Onside because I want to help them continue the work they do.”

Blue Toon manager Jim McInally said: “Gary is due to have his operation next month and we are looking forward to having him back in amongst the playing pool a couple of months after that. Back Onside have been terrific with him and as well as being their assistant manager in a charity game last week Gary has done work with them talking about mental health in schools and prisons.”
“That work has given him a real focus during a difficult time. He will need all that focus when he walks across hot coals.”
