Peterhead boss Jim McInally has started a search into the availability of defensive players after centre back Jason Brown was ruled out for at least 3 weeks with an ankle problem.
Jason was injured early on during Saturday’s game with Airdrie, and after being assessed over the weekend, the 25-year-old will spend a spell on the side-lines alongside defensive colleague David Wilson who has a foot issue as well as the versatile Simon Ferry who is waiting on the results of a scan on his back.

With four games over the next 12 days Jim is keen to bolster his squad before kick-off tomorrow night at Falkirk as he explained: “I had not been active in the transfer market as I was pleased with how our squad was looking in January. However, having lost three players who can play in defence has stretched us very thinly.”
“I made some enquiries about loan players as soon as I knew the extent of Jason’s injury and hopefully, we will hear positive news before our game tomorrow. I will also look at the free agents if we cannot secure a loan.”
