Attacking midfielder Lyall Cameron’s second loan spell at Peterhead from Premiership side Dundee has come to an end with the 19-year-old returning to Dens Park and subsequently joining Montrose until the end of the season also on a temporary basis.
Lyall initially joined the Balmoor side in October 2020 and scored his first ever senior goal in a win over Clyde later that month. After making a total of 15 appearances and scoring twice more the youngster was recalled by the Dens Park side to help bolster their push from promotion from the Championship.

At the start of this season a second loan period was agreed at Peterhead and Lyall went on to make 18 appearances and score in both the League and Scottish Cup as well as rather bizarrely turning out against the Blue Toon in a Challenge Cup tie for Dundee’s under-20 team.
Peterhead manager Jim McInally said: “I would like to thank Lyall for his contribution to Peterhead during his two stints here. I hope he does well at Montrose, apart from one certain game this season, and breaks into Dundee’s first team next season.”
