Peterhead manager Jim McInally has confirmed that things are quiet on the re-signing and signing front at the moment however he is not alarmed by that.
Ryan Conroy, Alan Cook, Conor Cullen, Simon Ferry, Derryn Kesson, Derek Lyle and Jadel Musanhu have all ended their time as players at The Blue Toon and Russell McLean’s availability for transfer has been circulated across the SPFL but to date there has been no news of any the remaining members of last season’s squad committing themselves for another campaign or signs of any new faces.

Jim however is not getting agitated as he explained: “There have been a lot of departures but to be fair we knew a lot of them would be happening and planned accordingly. Knowing that there were a few leaving allowed us to take some trialists in for our final training sessions and that could bear fruit fairly soon.”
“We have spoken to the rest of last season’s squad about coming back and there are some positive signs but the deadline for definite decisions has not passed. Signing decisions can take time however our last game was only ten days ago so I am not getting alarmed by anything.”
“We have also had very positive discussions with a Premiership club over a loan player. We enhanced our reputation last season in terms of how we developed youngsters and had them playing football in a good way.”
“We are seen as a good place to send players out to help them grow so that is a market we will look to tap into more once we know where we are.”
