Manager hopes to fill player/ coach position in coming days

Peterhead manager Jim McInally is hoping to confirm the appointment of a new player/ coach for the Blue Toon by the weekend. The position became vacant when Simon Ferry agreed to move from Balmoor to Lowland League side Open Goal Broomhill last week with manager McInally saying: “We knew that Simon would be moving on for a few weeks so that gave me the chance to think through who would be a good replacement for him.”

“I have had discussions, that I would class as positive, with the person I see filling that role and hopefully something will be agreed over the next couple of days. If it is it will be a good first step in assembling our team for next season.”
