Dumbarton Football Club were not the only visitors to Balmoor at the weekend as the Blue Toon also played host to local Royalty.
The coronation of Erika Paterson, the 60th Buchan Queen, as part of Peterhead’s Scottish Week, took place on Saturday afternoon and Erika popped into the Football Club shortly afterwards.
As part of her official duties Erika met chairman Rodger Morrison, and club legend Norman Crichton, however Balmoor is already well known to Erika as when she is not at university studying to be a Nurse, she can be found working at the club’s Coffee Shop or Bar.
Chairman Morrison said: “Everyone at the club was delighted for Erika when she was selected as the Buchan Queen. We all hope that she has a terrific year.”
