Peterhead will host Elgin City in the Third Round of the SPFL Trust Trophy on the weekend of September 24/ 25 with Blue Toon manager Jim McInally pleased to have a home tie. Jim said: “It is great that the draw has been kind to us and given us a game at Balmoor. The tie will also have an edge to it as both clubs have a Highland League history.” “It is a game I am sure Elgin will fancy their chances in and we will be the same.” Jim added: “It is still a few weeks away so we will concentrate fully on our league games before turning our attention to it.”
