The Peterhead squad, fresh from their success over Kelty Hearts at the weekend, returned to training on Tuesday with manager Jim McInally running his eye over a potential new recruit.
With the paperwork on the signings of Ugandan defender Enock Walusimbi and Dutch midfielder Loran Venrooy nearing completion the Balmoor boss hopes to go continental again
Jim explained: “We played a practice game at training and that allowed me to have a look at a French player who can play in the centre of midfield. He has some experience of English football, and he showed up well. You could tell that the players in the team he was in were impressed by his quality by the number of times they trusted him to receive passes.”
“As we have seen with other players getting the all-clear to sign them can be a complicated process so nothing will happen quickly, but we will be taking forward our interest in him.”
