Peterhead are delighted to advise that all the paperwork is in place for Ugandan internationalist defender Enock Walusimbi and the 23-year-old is in the squad that is heading to Queen of the South this afternoon. Walusimbi, who has played for his national senior team four times and is also the captain of the Ugandan under-23 international side, was signed in early September and the Blue Toon have had to be patient as visas and permits were organised. Everything is now in order and manager Jim McInally, who has been able to see Enock in training, is looking forward to seeing him in match action now that he is clear for selection. The Balmoor boss said: “Enock knows the boys, knows how we want to play and is a good footballer so I believe that he will settle into things easily. His recruitment is an exciting one for us and I am looking forward to having him play some part in the game at Dumfries.”
