The first whistle in Peterhead’s record-breaking October Football Camp has been blown with nearly 100 excited footballers set for action. The three-day event, sold out in the super quick time of less than three hours, follows on from a successful summer camp with Peterhead FC Community Liaison Officer Nat Porter saying: “Our camps are always popular however this one is a record breaker as places were snapped up so quickly. We are taking that as a good sign and that the boys and girls that attend like the ball mastery drills as well as shooting and dribbling practice along with the small-sided games.” “It is always good to put something back into our local community and I have to thank all the coaches and volunteers that help make it happen.” “A highlight of the camp is always the players versus coaches games and I know from experience how competitive they can be.” Nat added: “There could be some special visitors during the camp with members of the management team as well as well as the first team players set to pop in. It is great that the club and the people of Peterhead get behind the camps.”
