Paul Dixon update

Nov 9, 2022

Peterhead defender Paul Dixon has undergone a scan on the knee injury that has kept him on the side-lines recently in a bid to ascertain the extent of the problem. The 35-year-old three times capped by Scotland player joined the Blue Toon in the summer from Falkirk and had made 12 appearances before being forced off during the 2-2 draw at Dunfermline at the beginning of October. Paul was on the bench recently however with the injury still not settling down it was agreed that further investigation should take place with Balmoor assistant manager David Nicholls saying: “You always want a player of Paul’s experience to be involved however we have to ensure that we are not making a niggling problem worse.” “He had the scan carried out a few days ago and we will take things forward as soon as we know the results.”
