The last match between the sides, in October, saw the Fifers score two second half goals before a late comeback from the Blue Toon. Jason Brown and debutant that day, Michael Hewitt, claimed a well earned point. Despite this Dunfermline have held onto top spot and remain favourites on current form. The Pars are have lost once in their last six matches, whilst Peterhead have lost four and drawn two. However, on eight league meetings to date, the Fifers have never beaten Peterhead at Balmoor on league duty.
