New manager David Robertson is confident that his squad are capable of beating Kelty Hearts for the second time this season, “It’s been a busy week but I’ve had the boys in for two good training sessions and in each one I couldn’t fault the attitude of the players, they have been very adaptable and have shown great hunger and desire and we are all looking forward to the game. We know Kelty will be a difficult place to go, it’s a tight pitch and we know they had a slightly unfavourable result last week, so we will arrive in a positive frame of mind. Where we are in the league, we’ve got to go there and pick up points in every game from now until the end of the season.”
 
Injuries have been one of the reasons we have struggled this season and this week is no different. “I’ve identified who we have available and who’s out and there are a number of long term casualties” said Davie. “Ryan Strachan will be out for a bit of time due to damaging an eye socket last week, Paul Dixon is out as is Cody McLeod. Ryan Dow may be a number of weeks away from returning as he is still suffering from a hamstring issue and of course Hamish Ritchie continues his rehabilitation with regular visits to the physio. Russell McLean may make the bench but he is still feeling a few small niggles on his leg. It will be a late decision whether to include him or not.”
 
On a separate note, Ola Adeyemo has been released from his contract due to personal reasons. The striker, joined the Blue Toon from Cove Rangers in July this year and featured in eight games this season, scoring once in August away to Clyde in a 2-2 draw. Ola leaves Balmoor with the very best of wishes for the future.
