- Aberdeen Science Centre are hosting a Community Day at Balmoor on Sunday 12th February from 10am – 4pm to shout about all the things that Peterhead do that are linked with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Our own Youth and Community coach Steven Chalmers will be on hand to chat all things PFC. You can find more info about this event here.

– Slime, Fossils, Robots, Space exploration – Aberdeen Science Centre
– Carbon Capture Activities – Storegga
– Engineering Activities – ASCO
- Aberdeen FC Women’s team took on Dundee Utd FC Women at Balmoor on Wednesday night. Despite a late penalty from Aberdeen’s Hannah Stewart, Dundee Utd won the game 2-1.
General News
- After 11 years spent at Balmoor in various roles, Karla Clark is leaving us for a move away. Karla has been a mainstay at PFC working in the social club, bar and coffee shop and will be a big miss, everyone at PFC would like to wish her well on her move down South.
- We are in discussion about setting up a Peterhead Football Club Community Trust which will be of huge benefit to the club and wider community, this project has been in the pipeline for some time and is now in the preliminary stages – we will keep you updated as it progresses.
- The team are without a game this week so will be training on Saturday morning in Dundee instead with most of the squad available to attend. The absence of a game has meant that those players carrying injuries/illness can rest and the coaching team can work on fitness for those lacking in that department, Jordan and Josh have been recovering well from treatment and will hepofully be available for our next game.
- We started our first Monday morning team training session for those that were able to make it, focusing on fitness and technique work. This will be an ongoing extra training session.
- John Allan arrived from Shetland on Tuesday and trained this week with the team.
- Connor O’ Keefe had a scan on the injury keeping him on the side-lines and the prognosis is that he will unfortunately require surgery to correct the problem.
- A word from Davie: “overall things are beginning to take shape, the new players are bedding in and hopefully we can start to have more settled team which will help things moving forward”.
