General News
- A huge well done to the army of volunteers who arrived this morning to help clear away the debris left in the wake of Storm Otto. Our turnstiles roof took the main brunt of it and will need to be completely replaced along with other repairs that will need to be carried out before our next home game against Kelty Hearts on teh 25th February.
- Our first regular training session at Balmoor took place on Tuesday evening and was a real success. From Davie Robertson: “The players got a real buzz and feel for the club and seemed to have a lot of enthusiasm being on the pitch. We will be making this open to supporters moving on for those who wish to come see the players close up”. Going forward, the club will use these training nights as an opportunity for fans to get to know the players with a plan to get supporters more involved with the team – it will give fans a chance to interview their favourite players, something that can be difficult to organise for a game day due to time constraints.
- We play Clyde away tomorrow in what will be a very important game, from Davie Robertson: “This weeks match is a massive game for us, the players have worked hard this week and had a very competitive edge to the week which we will take in to tomorrows game”.
- Jordan brown and Josh Onyinsan trained this week and we are hopeful that there has been no reaction so that both can be available for selection tomorrow.
- Connor O’ Keefe has surgery next week and we wish him all the best and hope all goes well and he can be back on the pitch again soon, we’re looking for a repeat of that goal against Kelty Hearts when fully fit!
