A new addition to our fleet

A new addition to our fleet

Just like buses. You wait for one and two come along at once!
We have another new PFC vehicle, this one was today donated by Paul from Central Taxis NE – Millbank Coaches and is again liveried in our striking blue and white colours by Richard at Signature Signs. This one will be used locally so if you see us around town give us a wave.
Thank you to Paul and everyone at Millbank Coaches, it’s hugely appreciated.

How do lower league fotball clubs survive amid rising costs?
For us here at PFC it takes an entire town and district to ensure our survival. We have many income streams; gate money, stadium catering, corporate hospitality, advertising boards, match and ball sponsorship, programme advertising, League sponsorship, merchandise sales, social club and coffee shop income, platinum club, raffles, donations etc, but one income stream that fans may be unaware of however is the financial input from our Patrons. We would therefore like to take the time to introduce you to our patrons over the coming weeks to show our appreciation for the lifeline that they provide and to shine a spotlight on our “behind-the-scenes” benefactors.
MB PLANT
MB Plant Vehicle, Plant and Access Hire are one of our longest standing patrons who have over the years provided the club with both North and South-based minibuses to transport players as well as supplying vital equipment needed to carry out stadium repairs, when you see a cherry-picker in situ to fix our floodlights then this will have been generously donated by MB Plant. What has made this relationship all the more remarkable is that the owner Brian Rennie is not actually a football fan but is someone who has contributed to the running costs of PFC knowing the importance of supporting a local community club.
From all at PFC, thank you for your valuable support and we wish you and your team continued success.

Peterhead FC are looking to run two separate free 12 week FFIT  programmes beginning in mid January 2023 – one for men and one for women. Dependent on numbers, we hope to start the men’s session on Tuesday 10th Jan and women on Wed 11th Jan.
The requirements are that the participants be aged between 35 and 65 and have a waist size of over 36 inches (although exceptions can be made) and sessions are for 90 minutes once a week for 12 weeks. Previous participants of our FFIT programmes are most welcome and are also free of charge
The Football Fans in Training (FFIT) programme is a healthy living and weight loss programme that was carefully designed to appeal to men and women. It incorporates the latest scientific approaches to weight loss, physical activity and diet and taps the potential of professional football clubs to engage overweight men and women in a weight loss programme. It has been developed and successfully evaluated in a major research project led by the University of Glasgow
The FFIT programme has already been rolled out on 10 separate programmes to a total of 105 men and women  at Peterhead FC during which time the participants increased their knowledge of diet and nutrition and increased their levels of physical activity. The 10 groups comprising 105 people lost a staggering total of 107 stone 11 pounds  ( 577.7kg) with one participant losing just over 3 stone in the 12 week period. Participants from previous programmes will come along and speak to the new participants about their experience.
The programme will be run by former Peterhead FC player and SFA qualified coach/ FFIT trainer, Nat Porter.
If you wish to join the programme or require further information please call Peterhead FC on 01779 478256  or e.mail:  nat.porter@peterheadfc.co.uk or office@peterheadfc.co.uk

Festive Friends Christmas Lunch

Festive Friends Christmas Lunch

We had a great turnout for our Festive Friends Christmas lunch today where we welcomed those who braved the weather with a delicious meal cooked by Harry Fraser and served up by our Chairman and Directors. The diners were treated to a lovely Carol singing rendition from Buchanhaven Primary School to get everyone in the Christmas spirit. Also there to lend a hand were local councillor Dianne Beagrie, community wardens Mick and Shannon, PC Hislop as well as Marco and his Elves – well done all!

Christmas hampers delivered

It took a huge team effort today to deliver all of our Festive Hampers to the local community. First Team Manager Davie was joined by Directors Conrad Ritchie and Charlie Watt, Community Liaison Officer Natty Porter as well as Santa Claus Marco with his helper Elves spreading good cheer around the town in the spirit of Christmas.
A big thank you goes to the Peterhead Fire Service, North East Police Division PC’s Hislop & Kelman and Liz from ARCH who also lent a helping hand – well done all!
