Meet Natty Porter

Comunity Liaison Officer

For those who don’t know Natty, (and there aren’t many who don’t!) he is not only a Recreation Park Legend, and one of the youngest players to ever don a PFC strip, but he is also our Community Liaison Officer.

Over the past few years Natty and his team have overseen many worthwhile projects including the following:

  • Primary school coaching for 12 local schools
  • Match Day Coaching for local boys clubs and birthday parties
  • Match day mascots
  • Holiday coaching Camps with an average of 75 children aged 5-12 at each Camp.
  • Boys Club Development Coaching
  • Football Fans in Training (FFIT) 9 programmes – 95 people participating lost over 98 stone
  • Festive Friends – 300+ elderly and isolated people invited to Xmas lunch at Balmoor or having a hamper delivered
  • Boogie in the Bar
  • Willowbank Tea,Talk and Try Day
  • Parents on the ball – working with prisoners to teach them basic coaching skills
  • `Kit for all` receiving and distributing sports kit for those who need it.
